About Matthew
Matthew Brinton is a writer and visual artist based in Western Massachusetts. By combining his two modes of creative expression, he brings his spirituality and a layered thought aesthetic to life. He graduated from Berkshire Community College (BCC) with an AFA in 2022, and is currently enrolled in the Studio Art program at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts. In 2021 he was recognized by the BCC community for an article he wrote called “Thoreau and Conservation” as well as for a solo art show he presented called “A Visual Expression of Literary Personages and Themes.” A year later, he was published in a book of collected poems along with four other poets. These poets formed a small guild in 2019 known as The Inklets. More recently, he has published an illustrated novella called "Tales from a Bygone Era," and a memoir called "Coffee Girls." Matthew’s drawings are displayed in private art collections.
